		This presentation will provide a brief history of geospatial imagery, and identify how imagery has become an efficient, cost effective tool. In many industries, satellite images, aerial photographs and the information derived from them form a fundamental component in the decision making process. Though images have long been used as ‘backdrops’ in many industries; they are increasingly being used as efficient, up- to- date sources of information.
