on a mission and services offered by OGETA FORUM to regional communities

All sessions of the OGETA FORUM during the last couple of years have offered extremely valuable topics by
outstanding speakers.  Emerging from these discussions is a learning network of public and private sector thought
leaders in the interdisciplinary knowledge that is critical to our communities in the 21st century.

Our meeting this Friday will focus on ways to secure practical, longer-term and tangible results
based on the ideas generated through our learning network:

1. Is there a role for OGETA FORUM beyond hosting monthly sessions? 

2. Should OGETA FORUM seek to become more active in promoting changes based on the ideas presented
    at the sessions?

3. What practical institutional arrangements could be made that would secure OGETA FORUM's current role and
    any future new activities?
 
4. Should the session topics be more targeted to address specific issues the regional communities are facing, or
    based more on current trends in science, technology, and social development?
