ORIGIN OF MY ADVENTURE WITH ENTROPY
a measure of uncertainty or randomness; lack of order or predictability; gradual decline into disorder. Entropy may be seen both from the point of view of thermodynamics and from the information theory, as an expression of system heterogeneity. > Information theory is essential for understanding and treating cancer. My fascination with entropy has started decades ago while reading the first edition of > Stanisław Lem, SUMMA TECHNOLOGIAE, Kraków 1964.

Since July 2019, my interest in understanding entropy becomes more serious, while I am a patient of Winship Cancer Institute of EMORY University in Atlanta. My multiple myeloma is still active despite advance treatments I have been receiving in Winship. Still, my obvious believe is in the science which is progressing with amazing speed with EMORY being a leading contributor. Currently (Spring 2021), I am starting a new clinical trial therapy > TAK-573, developed by > Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd, after a previous one, the CAR T Cell therapy, which worked beautifully but only for half a year. Please view a graph showing measurements of my > LAMBDA vs TIME, and links to both clinical trials. However, if at the end, I would still have to move dip into the outer space, the recent advances in astronomy offers enormous amount of information about many galaxies to chose from. > Below an image of Antennae Galaxies NGC 4038 and NGC 4039 by European Southern Observatory in Chile, a pair of interacting galaxies in the constellation Corvus (Southern Hemisphere). They are currently going through a starburst phase, in which the collision of clouds of gas and dust, with entangled magnetic fields, causes rapid star formation.

The total entropy of the universe is continually increasing … with exception of all forms of life; and our growing scientific knowledge, which are defying the entropy. Today, so many authors do not miss an opportunity to reference the entropy regardless of their principal topic.
